At least that is what New Jersey based artist Drew the Recluse believes, belting an impressive blend of stressed yet soulful R&B vocals over sounds ranging from trap, alternative rock, and new wave. You will feel both pain and pleasure in the discography of this talented, young, flagship artist of the BLACK SUBURBIA MUSIC GROUP collective.
Born in 1994, Drew grew up listening to an eclectic range of music. Gathering influences from artist like Nirvana, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Eurythmics, and Jodeci. The oldest child of a loving yet struggling family of five, Drew uses life experience as his musical guide. His lyrics shining light on a range of themes like love, sex, and blissful vices painted upon the back drop of melancholic and stressful middle-class economic whirlwind.

As an opening act for a handful of accomplished artist and bands like Wicca Phase Springs Eternal & Angel Du$t, his stage performances have been praised for there vibrant color and a skilled showmanship that he has molded since the age of eight.
